Maybe the influence of drum and bass has finally found its way into the ultra
conservative hip-hop production world. if you listen to the beat on that Noreaga
track with the "What what what" chorus, it's very close to jump-up. It also seems
like they're using less real drum samples...the timbaland sound is much more
synthetic and electronic than early 90's stuff which was jazz samples galore...
